This edition is based on the Augener Ltd. edition of the Jig for pianoforte published in 1920. Copies of the work are in the library of the University of Leicester (the Benjamin Burrows Collection Items No. 28:1-3). The assistance of the library in making a photocopy available for study is gratefully acknowledged. The whereabouts of the autograph is not known. The work was also issued as part of Augener’s series of Graded Piano Pieces.
